Day 7 – Thursday, 20th May (B,L,D)
This morning we take a drive to EULO, the “Montville of the Outback” Eulo is known for its ancient artesian springs where water oozes to the surface as milky grey mud. Your local guide will share his knowledge on the Air Raid Shelter built at Eulo during WW2. Why is it in Eulo? Let’s find out. Lunch is served at the Eulo Queen Hotel, this iconic hotel was built in 1882. After a browse around this interesting wee town we reboard the coach and make our way to Quilpie, the small service centre on the Bulloo River known for its boulder opals. We check-in to our accommodation for our 2 nights stay.
