This morning, with a local guide you will hear and learn the untold stories of early settlers,
cattle duffers, merchants and discover Roma’s past. Uncover how the town transformed, the
industries it supports and find Roma’s hidden treasures like Heroes Avenue, naturally
illuminated stained glass windows and see Roma’s Biggest Bottle Tree. After lunch we visit
The Big Rig museum complex which includes the Oil Patch Museum, a $7 million living
memorial to the pioneers of Australia’s oil and gas exploration industry. Then tonight, enjoy
the Big Rig Night Show, a 35 minute show using current technology and
multimedia to tell the history of the oil and gas industry in Australia. (B,L,D)
