Later today we day we discover what went on in Woomera, the artificial town which was created to house people working at the Rocket Range.  Learn the incredible story of Len Beadell who was a surveyor, road builder … He chose the site which became known as Woomera in March 1947. Take some time to browse the Woomera Aircraft and Missile Park as well as the Woomera Rocket Range Museum before making our way to Port Augusta.
